About
The quality of your leadership is inseparable from the quality of your self-knowledge.
Executive coach and Partner at Trium Group, working at the intersection of strategy, psychology, and philosophy with C-suite leaders and their teams.
At 22, I walked away from my dream. I'd been a professional singer since I was 15 — and yet I had a nagging, persistent sense that there was something else I was supposed to do.
So I ran an experiment: for one year, I would step away from performing and find out what was there. I was terrified. Being a singer meant I was someone. Without it, I wasn't sure what I had to offer.
That fear turned out to be the most important thing I ever faced. I had to stop managing around my identity and figure out who I was without it.
It's this same reckoning I now see in nearly every leader I work with.
What followed surprised me. I joined an experience design firm, discovered I was wired for helping people see themselves and each other more clearly, and within four years found myself promoted to Managing Director and Interim CEO — running a $5M P&L and leading a team of 20.
I had no idea what I was doing. But through instinct, good mentors, and a willingness to stay curious about myself as a leader, I grew revenue, doubled profit, and drove the highest engagement and retention in the firm's history.
That experience deepened a conviction that has guided everything since: the quality of your leadership is inseparable from the quality of your self-knowledge.
Eager to bring that conviction into larger, more complex organizations, I earned my MBA from Stanford Graduate School of Business as an Arbuckle Leadership Fellow and built expertise in consumer strategy and go-to-market at Boston Consulting Group. That took me to Levi Strauss & Co., where I built the first Marketing Ops team for the Americas region and led Strategy, Data and AI for the $2BN Americas business.
Now, as an executive coach and Partner at Trium Group, I work at the intersection of strategy, psychology and philosophy: integrating the most critical business challenges and the most honest questions of leadership identity. My clients are C-suite executives and their teams — people who are ready to stop working around their edges and start leading from them.
